  something of note on her itinerary:.

  spiritual matters: please bring your songbook, examining the scriptures daily, and watchtower for the week of our tour so that the group may share in these together as time permits.. never a break, is there?.

  Can Jehovah Really Read Hearts?

  (a)if jehovah can really read the heart, then he with no doubt would have read the hearts of the perfect adam and eve and would have known that they will sin when set up for a (failure) test.

  then he would have known that he will punish them and all mankind for many thousands of years, which would case immense suffering, all to prove a point to his archnemesis!.

  in the real world, an example comes to mind.

  Seems like a lose-lose to me.

  Here it goes:

  (A)If Jehovah can really read the heart, then he with no doubt would have read the hearts of the perfect Adam and Eve and would have known that they will sin when set up for a (failure) test. Then he would have known that he will punish them and all mankind for many thousands of years, which would case immense suffering, all to prove a point to his archnemesis!

  In the real world, an example comes to mind.

  Imagine that you are a parent of two children. You love them to death and would do anything for them. Sounds pretty reasonable, right. You also have a gun in your home for protection. One day, as you the children and their infant children are having dinner, a criminal breaks into your home, waves a knife and threatens to kill everyone. You remain calm, manage to pull out the loaded gun and tell him to get out or get shot. The criminal laughs in your face and tells your children that their dad is a sissy and he shouldn't even be pulling out this toy gun. In response, you shoot to death both of your children and all grandchildren to prove to the criminal that the gun is not a toy gun and that he is wrong for calling you a sissy.

  Pretty loving, huh?

  (B) If Jehovah can't read the heart, then how can anyone in their right mind coldheartedly accept as normal the killing of innocent adults and babies at some cataclysmic event.

  I'm just so tired of all of this, and I just get so burned out.

  No sh!t, if I had to put 100+hours a month doorbanging and go to 5 meetings EVERY DAMN week, I'd be burned out too.

  is there any jehovah's witness who can answer these questions about 1914?.

  can you demonstrate, using the holy scriptures, that the messianic kingdom was established in 1914, that jesus got the full legal right to become king that year, and that jesus returned invisibly in 1914, and that the "last days" began that year?.

  1:) no encyclopedia, no history book, and no archaeology book that i have ever seen have ever said that nebuchadnezzar destroyed jerusalem and the temple in the year 607 bce.

  Hello - I´m new here

  just wanted to introduce myself.... .

  i am a secret fader but since reading this forum i feel i am alot more confident about telling my family/friends that i don t go to the meetings and inactive.. my hubby is also a fader with me...we kind of drifted after my first baby was born.

  she is now 11.. it all started with my mom who started studying with my cousin when i was about 15. while she was studying i also started studying (i was about 16).

  If The Watchtower Ruled the World...

  during my "intervention" the other night, an interesting thing was brought up that i remember hearing all through my life.

  i think even the wt has commented on it a time or two.. the girl i was talking to said, "can you just imagine what this world would be like if it was run by jehovah's witnesses?!?

  " she was saying this so as to prove her point that jehovah's witnesses have love and would never go to war nor break the law.

  Just about everyone will opt to shoot themselves in the head rather that put up with such bullshit forever.

  JWs are not committing mass suicides now, because of the hope for the "new system". Once they realize that this is, well, the "new system", the bodies will start hitting the floor en masse...

  At least this is my optimistic vision of it

  Have your JW Relatives Explained about Generation/Overlap Change to You ?

  after reading on the way out's thread about his mom explaining the generation overlap to him it kicked this idea into my head to make this thread .

  i thought it would be helpful to see if anybody here has had jw relatives or friends try to explain this " generation overlap " theory to you as a faded or inactive witness and what happened in the conversations.

  so please feel free to post your experiences.

  the 1975 debacle has been swept under the carpet saying that the watchtower never intimated that the end would come then.

  How can I enable the ssl protocol?

  there are so many answers out there, but i cannot decide which one that i should pick.

  i cannot use yahoo mail since the ssl protocol is currently disabled.

  i found a good suggestion earlier but i cannot find it again.

  Why don't you try a system restore. XP creates "restore points" around every config modification. try to go a day or so before the chrome crash, you may be able to get it to work again. Keep in mind that you will loose every modification you've made after the particular restore point - you will be given the standard Win warning about it...

  If you don't know how to restore, go to Start-> help and support and search for it...
